Erika Verik is a photographer and educator with experience directing programs, teaching and conducting research at institutions of higher education and culture such as Pratt Institute, the Museum of Modern Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens. She is currently the Director of K-12 Programs at ArtCenter College of Design. In her photography practice she works with publications and commissions to focus on the human experience through portraiture. She is currently residing in Los Angeles where she is focussed on her work in art and design education while holding a multidisciplinary art and design practice in documentary and portraiture photography, photo production, graphic design and apparel design with her line VERANEV. Additionally, she is a registered yoga teacher sharing practices of Vinyasa.

She received her MS in Art and Design Education from Pratt Institute and a BA in Studio Art, Photography and Contemporary Art Theory from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
